Newly Inspired - Brand New Story Idea

We haven't posted on here in such a long time. and two times in this month. It's a breakthrough. I do believe we are getting out of our slump. We do need to work on getting on and writing even though we feeling like we don't want to write. we are to make a habit of this writing. If we want to do this and make it work for us all the time. We got to come to this space and write. We need to come to this place and focus our mind. Keep in mind we are a writer and we can do whatever we want to do. We just have to focus and prepare for the future ahead. We have little time to procrastinate all the time. we have little time for laziness. we got to work at this. There is no time to waste our time with games or watching shows we are getting hooked on at the moment. we can do those things after we had our writing time.

I have added the two brand new stories we plotted and outlined out for the writing the coming months. We have outlined stories. After we've written one of these stories from beginning to end. Which will be the first, I have no clue. All I know is we will get writing soon. I believe these are the start of our paranormal writing phase. I have read a few books about ghosts, paranormal powers, and superpowers. Like superheroes. I love superheroes. My favorites are Batman, Spiderman, and the X-men. If you're a comic fan you may have read more than these, so you'll like more characters than I do.

We hope you will keep coming back to this blog and learning more about our writing style and what we write about. We'll also someday write our life story. Just not right now. All we know it's in our blood to be a writer of children's books and poetry. Just our poetry is a tad on the dark side. happy reading people.

NaNoWriMo - National Writing Month

National Writing Month - also known as NaNoWriMo

I have to writ 50,000 words in a the month. You don't win prizes, just win. the feeling that you can finish a book in a complete month. I have done this is four months so far. It has helped me have courage with my courage. I love writing and being disabled. I can't do much outside the apartments right now. All I know I learned to percevere to do my best. I love writing, both stories, poetry and want to learn to do screen plays one day.

Story five - Broken

This is my fifth novel. I think writing this novel is going to be tough and hard for me. Writing my stories are based on my childhood and the things I went through as a child. I find that writing these stories are helping or will help those teenagers out there who are going through the same thing I went through as a child. I never had book s like I write when I was young and a teenager myself. I'm glad that in future there will be children and teenagers who will learn they aren't alone in this world of abusive families.

The Storyline of Broken:
Since his dad walked out on them. His mother has be a workaholic and not wanting to be home. Aiden finds he isn't wanted. When his mother is home she is spitful and hurtful with her words and actions against him. It's like without his dad around he is her target. At first the words are harmless. Then when she loses her job, she takes it out on him. He is her target for all her emotions. Refused food at meal times, locked outside at night when it storms. Beaten when the house isn't tidy. He is the one she targets and not his sisters. It's like he has to try and survive somehow.

He figures out to find his dad and why he left. His dad David left to be with his partner. He works and his partner is a friendly person. They too don't want him. They want to see his sisters, but his mother refuses it. He is under attack by everyone. Nobody seems to want him around. He decides to run away. His school friend finds out what life at home was like for Aiden. John Lester keeps his secrets until he finds Aiden had run off. He talks to the GC at school and they invovle the social services and they find Aiden and he gets put into the system. His sisters are also taken and put in the custody of their father.

I have been having trouble posting here. I have let things lapse when I should be keeping my readers up to date with my work. I will try be better at posting about my stories, my poems and anything else I want to share here. I know I'm on my 5th novel. It's called - Change of Heart (Chronicles of Natasha Fortenberry). 

It's basically about a girl who is in a car accident and is rushed to hospital. She remembers nothing about the accident till she is diagnosed with MS. She thinks God had abandoned her as she is told she will have t use crutches or a wheelchair to get around. Plus she is put on very strong pain medication along with her other medications. She is diabetic, asthmatic and now MS. She starts to believe God has abandoned her until she starts seeing angels and having visions. She then finds God and understands why she has what she has. She begins to witness to other teens and children in hospital and in schools that God is there for them. Also that God is where he is meant to be. All they have to do is ask Him to enter their hearts and the Holy Spirit will guide them. 

I think this story is going to be number one in a series of book about Natasha Fortenberry. I hope it works out. I just love using my r/l into my stories. Yes I do see angels and have visions. That is why I'm writing this story, plus I have been diagnosed with MS recently. 

Show, don't tell

If it's a sermon your reader wants, there are churches to oblige.

What does it look like, sound like, feel like, taste like, smell like? When you describe a person or event, your reader is there with you. When you tell,the reader relaxes to the point of mental slumber.

Not sure of the difference?

Telling: John was sad after Susan broke up with him.

Reader: Yawn!

Showing: John shut his cell phone and leaned against the wall. He heaved a sigh and dropped his head into his hands.

Hear the reader's mind working:

"What's with John? Oh, I get it, he feels Susan let him down."

In nonfiction, details show, generalities or opinions tell.

Telling: Children are out of shape these days.

Reader: "I don't think that's true. My neighbor's kid plays Little League."

Showing: Forty percent of 5 to 8-year olds are obese.

The reader's mind kicks in:

"Wow! Children are out of shape these days!"

Tuesday and the Inspiration

It's Tuesday night, and we're watching Red Dwarf. Red Dwarf is a British sitcom. I've  been writing a story for the last week. This morning I decided to write, no start writing the gay fiction I had trapped inside my head out onto paper. The story is called Secrets Once Hidden. The story is about a eighteen year old young man who is dealing with coming out as being gay and a devoted catholic. I've written one chapter and a bit, 2180 words. I think that's a good bit of inspiration.

I've stopped for the last couple of days writing on my story Malachi. I intend on getting some writing done on this story and even deal with therapy which is tomorrow morning. I have high hopes of finishing Malachi be end of year, if not sooner.

Wednesday Night

For the past few days, I've done nothing but moan and groan in the direction of my partner. But with me moaning, fussing or raised voices gets me so inspired it's unbelievable. But the things we fuss about is video games or books I want to either buy or get from our local library. We fight every month or so. I know it sounds weird and unusual, but it happens.

Tonight we went out to get some snack-able's for me while my partner is out at GEN-con. My partner is very understandable, and very lovable.I wrote nearly two pages tonight, in a hour of time. I will carry on writing till I get tired or the cats annoy me too much...

The story I'm writing is called Malachi. It's the story of a young boy who faces a lot of problems while being in the foster care system. I'll post the storyline of the story in my next post. All I know with my therapist, my family and friends I get all the courage ad ability to keep pushing forward and getting my story out of my mind and with God's assistance, I would never be able to write in the first place...

Writing Process: Brainstorming

I have been doing a lot of research about the story I want to write. Using some of my life experiences to write to story I want to write. First being transgendered is a issues most live through in this world. There are people who brandish people who are gay, lesbian, and transgendered. We get branded with so many homophobia people with hate crimes and try to kill us and out us in this world.

I'm a devote catholic and love my church, my friends and my family here in America. If you want to find out what a transgendered person is, google it. Please try to understand we are people with feelings, word hurt.

I struggle with so much in my life, but writing is a way to get my feeling and dreams out onto paper and maybe for people to read and understand. I live with the thought that I can never change my body, but in dreams and wishes, I can let my dreams show me what life would be like if I changed my gender and it matched my mind. Life is too short to wish and dream. Be true to yourself. and follow your heart. This is my word.. Peace... and Love are the best things to remember.
