New WIP - Adventures in the American Jungle

I've decided to write this story. I've tried many time to write this story many times. This time I'm going to finish this story. It's in honour of our late mother-in-law. She was our muse when she was alive. She taught us a lot when she was alive. We search a lot of religions to find which one was right for us. We ran from Catholic religion due to our family. We never knew we would join it due to her. We even found after several different priest at the church, they find a priest we got along with. Father Todd was the one we got along with. He had a special connection with us. Not sure if God sent him to us to keep us in his church.

Now we write christian children's stories. This is what I love doing. Writing children's and YA christian stories is something I find uplifting. I know when writing I put my life experiences into each story. With that I find one day My stories will be on Amazon, Barnes & Noble bookshelves and other places for everyone to read.

11 Things Dogs Teach Writers About Life, Love, And Success

Let’s “paws” a moment to honor man’s (and woman’s!) best friend! Join us all at Writer’s Relief (WritersRelief.com) as we celebrate our clever pups with so much to teach writers about life, love, creativity, and success. 1. “Big” is all about attitude. Don’t be intimidated by the big dogs: writers with more experience or acceptance. Remember: Inside the tiniest terrier beats the heart of a Great Dane! 2. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. You’re never too old to start writing—or to keep writing! 3. Develop a taste for new ideas. As a writer, your success will stem in part from your willingness to embrace different ideas. So go dig up some unexpected and inspiring experiences to enjoy. 4. Puppy love isn’t just for babies. As you spend more time writing—and the inevitable rejections begin to arrive—your initial love affair with your work might begin to change, even fade. Take a tip from your pooch and from us here at Writer’s Relief: Never lose your sense of curiosity and wonder. 5. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. It’s a dog-eat-dog industry, and you might occasionally get irritated with an editor or agent. But it always pays to be nice. 6. Don’t worry about looking silly. Dogs don’t worry about how ridiculous they look! So don’t take yourself too seriously or be afraid to have some doggone fun—whether you’re writing the world’s most brilliant prose or a bit of “punny” poetry. 7. Take a break and go for a walk (or a bounce!). Writers work like dogs. But everybody needs a break sometimes. You’ll feel recharged and motivated when you get back to your desk to write. 8. Be “dogged.” “Dogged” means “the attitude of a person who is stubborn and determined.” Be a dogged writer. 9. Don’t let the tail wag the dog. Sometimes you might feel like the writing life is beating you up. Stay focused on your goals, and don’t let the little disappointments bring you down! 10. Don’t obsess over stuff. If you have a ruff day, forgive yourself, forgive others, shake it off—and do it quickly. 11. Everyone loves an underdog. We all start somewhere. Sooner or later, you’ll be the pick of the litter. And then—hot dog!—the stories you’ll tell.

New Genre - Alternative History

Last night I was wanting and researching an idea genre and came up with alternative history. With the help of our partner in crime. They're also our partner in life. We researched this them and found it will be interesting to write a story of a British history figure e.g. a Queen and change the real history and change it and make a story and then you have a dramatic storyline for a fun read for people. This is my theory anyway. I believe that in writing you have to explore you writing genres. This will improve your skills as a writer, also learning to write in other genres you'll learn what you can write, what you can't write. This is learning by default.

I do feel this will be a great experience for myself. I know writing is a great way to be creative. This is how I can expand my creative side. Learning new ways to expand your creative juices is a way to build on your writing. When you write just the same ole thing, it tends to get repetitive. This is what I have learned from my own kind of writing. I want to expand my genre. I do write for middle-grade/young-adult Christian fiction for the most part. Now I'm finding out I'm wanting to broaden my horizons. This will mean that I have to research what kind of stories I want to write. There are so many kinds of stories to be written. the only thing is what kind of stories do I have inside of me? This is the question I ask myself each and every day.

Speculative Fiction

Speculative Encompassing narrative fiction with supernatural or futuristic elements. This includes, not limited to, science fiction, fantasy, superhero fiction, science fantasy, horror, utopia, dystopia fiction & supernatural fiction.

Alternative History

A genre of fiction in which one writes on speculations on how the course of history might have been altered: e.g. Adolf Hitler hadn't become powerful and started world war II. What would the world be like today? Would we still be in our current life situations? All kinds of questions would arise for every kind of thing we could imagine. the list is endless.

REMEMBER
whatever you want to write, it's up to yours. be creative. You are the writer. You decide what you create. I know from personal experience. I write to create a life I only get in a dream. I know you have dreams, just dream big and write dreams down if you dream big.

Newly Inspired - Brand New Story Idea

We haven't posted on here in such a long time. and two times in this month. It's a breakthrough. I do believe we are getting out of our slump. We do need to work on getting on and writing even though we feeling like we don't want to write. we are to make a habit of this writing. If we want to do this and make it work for us all the time. We got to come to this space and write. We need to come to this place and focus our mind. Keep in mind we are a writer and we can do whatever we want to do. We just have to focus and prepare for the future ahead. We have little time to procrastinate all the time. we have little time for laziness. we got to work at this. There is no time to waste our time with games or watching shows we are getting hooked on at the moment. we can do those things after we had our writing time.

I have added the two brand new stories we plotted and outlined out for the writing the coming months. We have outlined stories. After we've written one of these stories from beginning to end. Which will be the first, I have no clue. All I know is we will get writing soon. I believe these are the start of our paranormal writing phase. I have read a few books about ghosts, paranormal powers, and superpowers. Like superheroes. I love superheroes. My favorites are Batman, Spiderman, and the X-men. If you're a comic fan you may have read more than these, so you'll like more characters than I do.

We hope you will keep coming back to this blog and learning more about our writing style and what we write about. We'll also someday write our life story. Just not right now. All we know it's in our blood to be a writer of children's books and poetry. Just our poetry is a tad on the dark side. happy reading people.
